
BIOGRAPHY
​
Philip Fransen (Belgium) did get, at the age of 6, his first music lessons from his father.
He studied first piano and later on Bassoon, which he played in several orchestras for many years under the baton of his father.
In 2015 he started conducting lessons with composer and conductor Kevin Houben.
Diploma of orchestral conducting in May 2019
Dissertation with analysis of the opera La Pincesse jaune of Camille Saint-Saens and full orchestration of the Tragic overture of J. Brahms (for symphonic wind band orchestra)

Additional, Philip participated in several conducting masterclasses worldwide
During these masterclasses, Philip took lessons from eminent conductors and teachers over the globe, including Kirk Trevor, Alim Shakh, John Farrer, Neil Thomson, Martin Ackerwall, Peter Larsen, Martin Sieghart and Lior Shambadal and he worked together during this masterclasses with the Boulder Chamber Orchestra (Colorado, US), Berlin Sinfonietta (Germany), West Bohemian Symphony orchestra (Tsjech republic), North Bohemian Opera and Ballet theater orchestra (Tsjech republic), Moravian Symphony orchestra (Tsjech republic) and Pazardchik Symphony orchestra (Bulgaria)
